I first met Susan York in elementary school (West Park). She was smart. She was an overachiever, even a teacher's aide. Somehow, I managed to get into the advanced class with her one year and we spent a fair amount of time together - sixth grade, maybe. She held great promise. I moved after that and never really met up with her again, although I did catch a few glances of her in the high school hallways. She had changed considerably. Platinum blond hair. She died too soon.
I knew Sue from Vichy Springs. She always sat & sunbathed in the same spot...beautiful, amazing tan! Everyone used Baby Oil, long before sunscreen! She was a beautiful, really nice girl, and gone way too soon. Rest in peace, Sue.
Sue lived close to me on Rubicon street in 10th grade. Was so nice and generous. Very smart, tutored me through Geometry! I have fond memories of her. Rest In Peace, Susan
