I didn't know Tomie had passed away. She was a friend and had been on Facebook with her the last few years. Lots of memories in high school. So sad 😞

I am crying as I write this because Tomie was one of the friendliest, kindest, and funniest people I have ever known. Tomie really knew how to make me smile - that's a fact. She contacted me shortly after our 50th reunion and it was wonderful to hear from her. Tomie had exceptional slumber parties when we were at Ridgeview and invited many of us to join in the fun. Dancing in the garage, good snacks, sneaking out after midnight just for the fun of it, and talking until dawn made these events worth the anticipation. I can't remember the actual date of when I last ran into Tomie but I remember feeling an air of innocence and goodness surrounding her and will forever hold onto that memory. Rest in peace, dear friend.

I am so sad on hearing about Tomie's passing.  Our parents were friends when we were little.  Lost touch, then renewed the friendship in high school, then again in Facebook.  She was such a positive, fun-loving person.  The world is a little sadder without her.  My condolences to Elaine and Cathy.

Tomie was my good friend, starting in junior high and, with times in between, when I last chatted with her online on April 14.  She was so kind (as Brenda said), thoughtful, funny and loved the Giants.  I will miss her so. She is now  flying free, no more hospitals, tests or suffering.  Next time (when?) you watch the SF Giants, know Tomie will be watching with you, rooting them on!
