Marc Elledge was one of my best friends in high school. He had a '55 Chevy 2-door hardtop, I had a '55 Chevy 2-door hardtop. I remember when he got married, he had just recently painted his '55 a metallic gold color. Looked great. In my infiite wisdom, I attached a banner to the car congratulating them on getting married. When the banner was later removed, it took off the paint leaving a sizeable gray primer spot. Could have died on the spot.
